Turned Off Snack Machines

The Lion's Roar June 1, 2015     Rivki

Dear Rivki,

I’m always hungry Wednesdays and Thursdays because the snack machines are turned off. What do I do?

Sincerely,

Feed Me

Dear Feed Me,

This is a very common problem that I think many Schechter students can relate to; Jews like to eat! It is always the worst feeling when I take out my one-dollar bill, walk all the way to the snack machine and find that it is turned off. I would advise you to bring two snacks to school every meat day: one dairy snack for the AM and one parve for the PM. Also, word on the street is that our very own student government is working on installing parve snack machines! Good thing yours truly has the inside scoop on all things Schechter. But, one can never have enough snacks. So in the interim, bring at least two snacks a day and you will be set. It will be such a relief to know that during 8th period when you’re already starving, you can reach into the pocket-turned pantry in your backpack. Remember: keep calm and nosh on!

Sincerely,

Rivki
